How about lime nitrogen production process?

May 12, 2023|

In current agricultural production, chemical fertilizers are still used as the main fertilizer. After all, the source of green manure is limited, and it needs to go through many links such as manure accumulation and fermentation. The overall process is relatively long. The most important thing is that green manure has a single function and can only increase Fertilizers, and chemical fertilizers can also play a role in weeding and weeding. So, what is the production process of lime ammonia?

Lime nitrogen is a common chemical fertilizer raw material, which has a great effect. Let's briefly explain the production process of lime nitrogen. I hope you can learn more about it. Lime nitrogen is a mixture of calcium cyanamide, calcium oxide, and other insoluble impurities. It is gray-black and has a special odor. It is an alkaline fertilizer and one of the main raw materials of high-efficiency and low-toxic carbendazim pesticides. It can be used as herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, etc., and can be used to produce dicyandiamide, melamine, and cyanide melts. Its specific production process is as follows:

1. Crush calcium carbide, infiltrate 1~3% fluorite or calcium chloride, mix well, heat to about 1100°C in a rotary kiln, and react with radon gas to obtain the product.

2. First dry pure HCN in a CaC12 and P205 dry blaster, and then collect it in a fully cooled receiver, the amount is three times the theoretical amount. Bubble ammonia gas into the container (mixed with some ammonia gas) to replace HCN, and place a porcelain boat containing CaCO3 in the porcelain tube. When the temperature of the porcelain tube reaches 700°C or 850°C, introduce HCN. The HCN receiver was heated to 18°C and heated for 3h to obtain the product.

The above production process is relatively simple and suitable for all factories. Of course, it should be noted that lime nitrogen is toxic. After acute poisoning, there may be organic neurological disorders, weakness of limbs, and subsequent multiple neuritis. The lethal dose is about 40~50g. Therefore, special attention should be paid during production. Front-line workers need to prepare various protective suits to protect their own safety.
